I think they get high on life. That's what they told us, back in grade school. Oh, wait. That was drugs. Alcohol wasn't considered a problem back then. I dunno. Maybe they come home, curse at the dog, and kick the wife (or husband), and then sob in the corner, until it's time to go to bed. Then they wake up, gloriously undrunk, and contemplate slashing themselves with the razor in the bathroom, until at last, they get in the car, and go to work, only to come home again, and get that old feeling of deja FU.
