Lions baby! GB is very good but too full of themselves.

The Lions/Packers final game doesn't mean anything to GB...they've got a bye and then home-field all the way to the Super Bowl. So the Pack may be resting their starters a bit. The Lions, meanwhile, could clinch the 5th seed in the NFC if they beat GB and Atl loses.

GO LIONS!

Eight 49ers in the Pro Bowl. No big deal.

If Harbaugh doesn't get coach of the year then something is SERIOUSLY wrong with the selection system.

Exactly. If we can avoid a matchup with NO that would be great. And so unlike GB the lions have something to play for.

Denver making the playoffs the NFC west way....

...And I don't care.
Oh, that? Yeah, I did that, it's my fault. I'm sorry.

Just something to think about:

If Denver's season this year were a cheesy 1980's sports movie, this week would be the montage scene. You know, if this were a cheesy 1980's sports movie.

I don't see the 49'ers beating the Saints, and also depending on injuries to GB, I don't know that they will win it again.

Because the Lions are going to beat the Saints!

Actually, I'm at work and can't get on any sports sites, but wouldn't the Saints be at home?

No, the 49ers are the #2 seed. I think the Saints would probably win on a neutral field, but the home field advantage will end up being the deciding factor in the real game. Niners are 7-1 at home and Saints are 5-3 on the road. Brees' playoff magic doesn't work so great outside the dome (look what happened last year in Seattle), let alone in conditions like Candlestick in January, let alone against the best defense in the league. Plus, they have to play an extra game.

Gotcha. I agree that he plays better at home. But, it's going to be 60 degrees there so weather won't be a factor, and it will be interesting to see the best offense meet best defense.
