Postby Patchez » Thu Feb 23, 2012 8:36 am

OK guys, it seems there may now be four(me, Jolly Roger, beerkegbilly and Renegadexss) of us on the board, although Renegade doesn't show up often. so post up here if you have ideas or events you'd like to hit and we'll see what happens.

There are quite a few microbreweries around (weyerbacher, Troegs, Appalachian, Lancaster Brewing), maybe a factory tour some saturday during the summer, then a bar afterwards? Or if there is a beerfest locally, I'd be down for that, seeing as I've never been to one. We were supposed to go the one in Philly for my 21st, but the no-fun-havers rained on that parade. (still got good and drunk, however.)

Or a pilgrimage to the Mecca of non ABinbev/MillerCoors, Pottsville, to see the Yuengling brewery.

Thinking of the Appalachian Brewing co. for the Kilmaine Saints on St. Patty's day.

OTW = off track wagering? I'll see if I can wrangle anyone up, but I believe I work till after the horseys are done, so I'll probably end up at my local.

Here's the link to the guys site. I've been wanting to do a Susky Chapter MDEC run to the brew pub there anyhow. This seems as good a reason as any. Plus I love the sound of these hand made git boxes.

Also a link to the brewpub.

That might be doable..... depending on work. And when my parents leave town. All those weekends are 100% house party (the "smoke-em-if-ya-got-'em" theory).

I just realized that this was even a section of the board

Yeah, awfully long between updates on the website so I've just been posting here. Though you would be more Metro Philly area as far as a chapter goes you're welcome aboard as a member in this chapter if there aren't enough people in your area. Working overnights on the weekends has put kind of a damper on activities though.
