There's no need to hate on people who live their life differently. Different strokes and all that.

I don't hate them, I feel sorry for them. Unless they start to look down on me for mowing my lawn at 9 on a Saturday morning with a beer in my hand. Then I loathe and despise them. Never hate though, that takes far to much time and energy. Let's face it I'm far too lazy and they are so not worth that kind of effort.

I feel happy for them. They have things to expend their pure energy on.

Stinie, are you telling us that you would want to be happy without drinking and that drinking is being imposed on you by the vacuity of your life? If that is so, I am not entirely sure you've been posting in the right place for the last seven or eight years.

No, I just don't see the value in judging people or looking down on/feeling sorry for them because they don't partake in one of my past times. I know people who drink, people who don't drink, and people who used to drink. I value them all. I didn't mean for it to sound like I only feel happy for undrunk people. I like to be happy for everyone, though I admit that I make many an exception to this rule but I do it on a case-by-case basis.
